VITA Meet-up: Presentation on Financial Empowerment at Tax Time

Financial empowerment at Tax Time has renewed emphasis with the introduction of 530A “Trump” Accounts and the Saver’s Match. During my time consulting to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, we identified 12 promising practices that VITA sites use to assist taxpayers.

Next Wednesday, I will present my latest thinking on financial empowerment practices for free tax assistance providers.
